  • PROJECT INTERN

    Pelorus is looking for an enthusiastic Project Intern to be part of our exciting and innovative Private Adventures team. The future is exciting for Pelorus so now is a fantastic time to join and gain some hands-on experience. This internship experience would be ideal for a creative and ambitious individual who’s comfortable multitasking and strives to deliver exceptional work.

    Not only would you be working alongside this great team, but also the wider company and with suppliers and industry individuals to help keep our finger on the experiential travel sector pulse. You will help researching and building extraordinary experiences in some of the most interesting and remote parts of the planet and gain hands-on experience in a young, dynamic and highly motivated team.

     

    WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
    • Researching exciting experiences and itineraries for our website and for client trips

    • Joining planning brainstorms with the team across all three areas of the Pelorus business

    • Working closely with Pelorus founders and the senior management team
    • Contacting and building relationships with suppliers and experts from around the world

    • Showing creativity to continue making the experiences we create truly world class

    • Supporting our marketing team by adding experiences and properties to the website

    • Building exceptional and powerful presentations for clients

    • Helping to build our image library

    ABOUT YOU
    • Ambitious person who would like to gain more experience in the travel industry

    • Looking to develop your project management skills

    • Work well in a team but also comfortable managing your own projects

    • Excellent time management and attention to detail

    • Passion for travel and adventure

  • EVENTS MANAGEMENT INTERN

    As the world begins to open, so too does the opportunity to meet our network in person. To support this, Pelorus is looking for an Events Management student or graduate to join the team to help build and deliver world-class events for the business and our charity, the Pelorus Foundation.

    This internship experience would be ideal for an extremely organised, innovative and ambitious person who is comfortable working independently and as part of a fast-paced team. Throughout the internship you’ll gain genuine experience managing live events, support fundraising opportunities for vital conservation work and lead on promotion and marketing of events.

    WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
    • Working closely with Pelorus founders and senior management team on planning brand and charity events
    • Researching and contacting venues
    • Sourcing partners and world-class speakers, managing guestlists
    • Creating and managing budgets
    • Event logistics management
    • Driving creative ways to enhance the events and the build-up
    • Working alongside the marketing & PR team to promote the events and secure coverage
    ABOUT YOU
    • Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organisational and time management skills
    • Looking to develop events management experience
    • A self-starter with a willingness to learn
    • Great communication skills and a creative approach
    • Comfortable using Microsoft Office software
    • An interest in charities, conversation and travel

  • CONTENT MARKETING INTERN

    Pelorus is looking for an enthusiastic and creative content intern to join our marketing team.  The future is exciting for Pelorus so now is a fantastic time to join and gain some hands-on experience with some exciting projects with our young, dynamic and highly motivated team.

    This internship experience would be ideal for a creative and ambitious individual who’s comfortable multitasking and is looking to build on or develop content marketing skills. You would have the opportunity to research and create your own content, as well as to help deliver editorial content with partners and other teams within the business too.

     

    WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
    • Helping to build and run an editorial calendar across all three areas of the Pelorus business 

    • Researching and writing your own features and interviews

    • Managing the new stories section of the Pelorus website with our other team members

    • Working alongside our digital marketing team members to plan and build content for SEO

    • Working closely with Pelorus founders and senior management team 
    • Loading new articles and features to the website

    • Helping to proof and edit copy across the business and providing feedback

    • Building out and improving an image library

    ABOUT YOU
    • Creative person with lots of ideas

    • Looking to develop content marketing skills and editorial experience

    • Works well in a team and comfortable managing your own time too

    • Exceptional grasp of the English language

    • Great communication skills

    • Excellent time management and attention to detail

    • A passion for travel and adventure
