  • TRAVEL DESIGNER

    We are looking for a Travel Designer, with at least 2 years’ experience, to join the Private Adventure Sales Team. You will be working closely with suppliers and industry individuals to keep your finger on the experiential travel sector pulse and plan extraordinary adventures, experiences, and events in some of the most interesting and remote parts of the planet, working with a fast moving, young, dynamic, and highly motivated team.

     

    CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Researching and curating bespoke itineraries for HNWs and UHNWIs that seek to transform our perspective on the world and our impact on the planet.
    • Building a close relationship with clients to support their long-term travel plans tailored to their needs, all delivered with exceptional customer service and attention to detail.
    • Working closely with suppliers, accommodation providers, local authorities, and subject matter experts from around the world.
    • Full responsibility for all project logistics. Including itineraries, contingencies, safety procedures, permits, equipment sourcing and ownership of all aspects of logistics and costing of trips.
    • Manage all trip costing. Including contingencies, invoices, payments to suppliers, consultants and relevant third parties.
    • Work alongside the department lead and marketing team to create innovative itineraries for marketing and PR campaigns

    Key requirements will include:

    • At least 2 years’ experience in bespoke travel design
    • Strong knowledge of destinations, accommodation options and experiences
    • Previous financial responsibility

    Desirable Experience and Qualifications:

    • Black book of relevant contacts worldwide
    • Understanding and experience of using a GDS for flight bookings
    • Degree (or equivalent)
    • Languages (desirable)

  • PROJECT DIRECTOR

    Due to an exciting new business opportunity, Pelorus is recruiting for an experienced project lead. This new hire will own and manage the development of a new inbound destination management company in a newly emerging tourism market. Covering everything from the initial business plan to launch and development. This role requires senior or director level experience working alongside business owners or directors within the travel space.

     

    SUMMARY

    • Full ownership of an exciting project involving a start-up enterprise with multiple verticals. 
    • Working closely with stake holders and industry individuals to build and execute on a business plan and strategy.
    • Planning extraordinary adventures, experiences in a corner of the world new to the travel industry.  
    • Working with a fast moving, young, dynamic, and highly motivated team.
    • Will involve regular travel to the middle east.

    CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Business planning: assist in creating a robust and ambitious business plan for a new inbound Destination Management Company.
    • Project Management: manage an exciting strategic project with multiple business facets from start to launch, ensuring that each detail is thought through to deliver a world class project. Potential for experiential and property projects.
    • Project finances: work with stakeholders, oversee all forecasting, budgets and project costings to ensure all aspects are covered including project P&L.
    • Management: report to stakeholders and be prepared to manage a growing project team. Ensure high standards of client and supplier management.
    • Product Development: identify and create innovative travel experiences with an eye for commercial opportunities.

  • CONTENT MARKETING EXECUTIVE

    We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic Content Marketing Executive to join the Pelorus team. Predominantly based at our central London HQ but with some time working remotely from home, you’ll deliver exciting marketing activity and creative content campaigns across all areas of the Pelorus business that strives to raise brand awareness and engagement.

    Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this is a challenging but exciting opportunity that would involve working alongside all members of the innovative Pelorus team, including our founders. The ideal candidate would be a creative and ambitious individual who’s comfortable multitasking and aims to deliver exceptional work, a passion for travel is a must too.

     

    Core responsibilities

    • Running a creative campaign calendar that spans various marketing channels
    • Daily running of our social media accounts, driving growth and improving engagement. Including social media advertising.
    • Creating and sending regular client and partner newsletters, driving improved performance and reach
    • Creating and executing a long-term content marketing strategy
    • Researching and creating quality stories and articles for our website
    • Supporting our SEO strategy through optimised content
    • Managing and expanding our image and video library
    • Leading on design projects, creating innovative ways to present campaigns and our story
    • Day to day management of website content and merchandising
    • Introducing monthly campaign and channel reporting via Google Analytics

    Additional responsibilities

    • Supporting in PR activity, sourcing imagery and content for releases and pitching
    • Assisting in business development and brand partnership activities

    • Working knowledge of Google Analytics and other reporting tools such as SEMRush beneficial

  • FOUNDATION MARKETING EXECUTIVE

    Pelorus Foundation is now recruiting for a Marketing Executive with a passion for conservation to join the growing team for a 6-month FTC initially but with huge potential for a longer-term position following this term. Based at our central London HQ or working remotely and reporting to the Head of Pelorus Foundation, supported by the group Head of Marketing, this role offers an exciting opportunity for a young marketer to implement a multi-channel marketing plan for the charity in this newly created role.

    This position would suit an individual who is looking for both strategic and hands-on marketing experience, someone who wants to work alongside an innovative team and supporting a young charity with ambitious fundraising targets to support critical conservation efforts globally.

     

    Core responsibilities

    • Work with the group marketing team and Foundation head to create a marketing plan to cover all channels to raise awareness of the Foundation and increase fundraising
    • Manage delivery of this plan
    • Daily running of our social media accounts and social media advertising
    • Creating regular articles for our website
    • Management of our website CMS, website development projects and performance
    • Monitoring website traffic and digital performance in Google Analytics and other reporting tools
    • Launching an e-CRM plan to build email sign-ups and send regular newsletters
    • Own our SEO and PPC strategies
    • Manage our image and video library
    • Manage design projects and create innovative ways to share the Foundation goals and projects
