  • TRAVEL DESIGNER

    We are looking for Travel Designers, with at least 2 years’ experience, to join our Sales Team. You will be working closely with suppliers and industry individuals to keep your finger on the experiential travel sector pulse and plan extraordinary adventures, experiences, and events in some of the most interesting and remote parts of the planet, working with a fast moving, young, dynamic, and highly motivated team.

     

    CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Researching and curating bespoke itineraries for HNWs and UHNWIs that seek to transform our perspective on the world and our impact on the planet.
    • Building a close relationship with clients to support their long-term travel plans tailored to their needs, all delivered with exceptional customer service and attention to detail.
    • Working closely with suppliers, accommodation providers, local authorities, and subject matter experts from around the world.
    • Full responsibility for all project logistics. Including itineraries, contingencies, safety procedures, permits, equipment sourcing and ownership of all aspects of logistics and costing of trips.
    • Manage all trip costing. Including contingencies, invoices, payments to suppliers, consultants and relevant third parties.
    • Work alongside the department lead and marketing team to create innovative itineraries for marketing and PR campaigns

    Key requirements will include:

    • At least 2 years’ experience in bespoke travel design
    • Strong knowledge of destinations, accommodation options and experiences
    • Previous financial responsibility

    Desirable Experience and Qualifications:

    • Black book of relevant contacts worldwide
    • Understanding and experience of using a GDS for flight bookings
    • Degree (or equivalent)
    • Languages (desirable)

  • MANAGING DIRECTOR

    Due to an exciting new business opportunity, Pelorus is recruiting for a senior level project lead. This new hire will own and manage the development of a new inbound destination management company in a newly emerging tourism market. Covering everything from the initial business plan to launch and development. This role requires senior or director level experience working alongside business owners or directors within the travel space, and will be working alongside Pelorus group CEO. 

     

    SUMMARY

    • Full ownership of an exciting project involving a start-up enterprise with multiple verticals. 
    • Working closely with stake holders and industry individuals to build and execute on a business plan and strategy.
    • Planning extraordinary adventures, experiences in a corner of the world new to the travel industry.

    • Will involve regular travel to the middle east.

    CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Business planning: assist in creating a robust and ambitious business plan for a new inbound Destination Management Company.
    • Project Management: manage an exciting strategic project with multiple business facets from start to launch, ensuring that each detail is thought through to deliver a world class project. Potential for experiential and property projects.
    • Project finances: work with stakeholders, oversee all forecasting, budgets and project costings to ensure all aspects are covered including project P&L.
    • Management: report to stakeholders and be prepared to manage a growing project team. Ensure high standards of client and supplier management.
    • Product Development: identify and create innovative travel experiences with an eye for commercial opportunities.

  • CRM & OPERATIONS MANAGER

    Pelorus is entering a new stage of growth and we are looking for someone to lead on a critical part of this, the continued development of our CRM and reservation system and the implementation of improvements to our customer journey and client services.

    Working alongside our CRM project manager, Head of Marketing and other senior members of the team, this role would suit a CRM or Operations Executive/Senior Executive with strong project management skills who is looking to take a step up into a manager level position with an ambitious company.

    This role will be based out of our London HQ but with time spent working remotely too.

     

    Core responsibilities

    • Work alongside overseas developers and members of the senior team to drive forward the development of our CRM and reservation system
    • Support in CRM project management with daily meetings and through utilising project management tools
    • Implement improved client proposal documents and experience content through our CMS and by working alongside designers and developers
    • Complete reservation system processes covering finance, payments, receipts, documentation, supplier details and reporting
    • Operational support to the wider team
    • Develop interesting ways to integrate new software into the CRM and reservation system and to improve our client offering
    • Support marketing integrations alongside our Digital Marketing Manager
    • Identify opportunities to improve our customer journey at all stages, for all areas of the Pelorus business, implementing changes
    • Developing strategies to improve retention and referral marketing
    • Management of all client data and segmentation to support marketing efforts

  • PELORUS FOUNDATION MARKETING EXECUTIVE

    Pelorus Foundation is now recruiting for a Marketing Executive with a passion for conservation to join the growing team for a 6-month FTC initially but with huge potential for a longer-term position following this term. Based at our central London HQ or working remotely and reporting to the Head of Pelorus Foundation, supported by the group Head of Marketing, this role offers an exciting opportunity for a young marketer to drive implement a multi-channel marketing plan for the charity in this newly created role.

     

    This position would suit an individual who is looking for both strategic and hands-on marketing experience, someone who wants to work alongside an innovative team and supporting a young charity with ambitious fundraising targets to support critical conservation efforts globally.

     

    Core responsibilities

    • Work with the group marketing team and Foundation head to create a marketing plan to cover all channels to raise awareness of the Foundation and increase fundraising
    • Manage delivery of this plan
    • Daily running of our social media accounts and social media advertising
    • Creating regular articles for our website
    • Management of our website CMS, website development projects and performance
    • Monitoring website traffic and digital performance in Google Analytics and other reporting tools
    • Launching an e-CRM plan to build email sign-ups and send regular newsletters
    • Own our SEO and PPC strategies
    • Manage our image and video library
    • Manage design projects and create innovative ways to share the Foundation goals and projects
    • Supporting in PR activity, sourcing imagery and content for releases and pitching
    • Assist in business development and partnership activity, helping to deliver on several exciting brand partnership opportunities
