Due to an exciting new business opportunity, Pelorus is recruiting a Marketing Executive working on a new project in Saudi Arabia. You will assist the marketing manager of a new Destination Management Company with our Saudi Partners.

ROLE:
- The role is London based but regular travel to Saudi Arabia will be required.
- This new hire will assist the development of the marketing function for an inbound destination management company. Covering everything from the agency relationships to executing the marketing plan to company launch and development.
- To succeed in this role, you will need to be a self-starter and have excellent project management skills. A background in travel is essential.
- The Marketing Executive reports to the Marketing Manager
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creating, managing and expanding our image and media library
- Assist with the relationships with multiple creative, marketing & PR agencies.
- Assist with branding and visual identity creation in conjunction with agency
- Assist with the design, build and content creation of the website
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets for the Marketing department
- Ensure our brand message is strong and consistent across all channels and marketing efforts (like events, email campaigns, web pages and promotional material)
- Assist in collating consumer behaviour and determine customer personas (domestic vs international)
- Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share
- Monitor competition (acquisitions, pricing changes and new products and features)
- Coordinate sales and marketing efforts to boost brand awareness
- Attending industry events
- Supporting product launches.
- Assist the development of content and editorial
- Running a creative campaign calendar that spans various marketing channels
- Creation and management of our social media accounts, driving growth and improving engagement. Including social media advertising.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 3 years of experience in a marketing function
- Experience in working within a marketing function within a tour operator or destination management company or tourism authority/promotion
- Experience in outsourced agency relationships
- Experience running successful marketing campaigns
- Solid knowledge of SEO, web analytics, Google AdWords and other key marketing tools
- Experience with CRM software and email marketing solutions
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience at an Inbound Tour Operator or DMC in the Middle East.
- Previous experience in the Middle East
- Arabic Speaker (desired not essential)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree (or equivalent)
- Languages (desirable)
