  • The role is London based but regular travel to Saudi Arabia will be required.
  • This new hire will own and manage the development of the marketing function for an inbound destination management company. Covering everything from the agency relationships to executing the marketing plan to company launch and development.
  • To succeed in this role, you will need to be a self-starter and have excellent project management skills. A background in travel is essential.
  • The Marketing Manager reports to the MD and is an active contributor/collaborator on the Senior Management Team, developing the business strategy and ensuring company objectives and performance delivery.


  • Manage relationships with multiple creative, marketing & PR agencies.
  • Oversee branding and visual identity creation in conjunction with agency
  • Oversee the design, build and content creation of the website
  • Creating and developing strategies for growth
  • Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets for the Marketing department
  • Set, monitor and report on team goals
  • Ensure our brand message is strong and consistent across all channels and marketing efforts (like events, email campaigns, web pages and promotional material)
  • Analyse consumer behaviour and determine customer personas (domestic vs international)
  • Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share
  • Craft quarterly and annual hiring plans
  • Manage team development and training
  • Monitor competition (acquisitions, pricing changes and new products and features)
  • Coordinate sales and marketing efforts to boost brand awareness
  • Participate in the quarterly and annual planning of company objectives
  • Attending industry events
  • Product role coordination, what to promote when. Supporting product launches.
  • Overseeing the development of content and editorial
  • Create and manage SEO and PPC strategies for growth


  • Experience in working within a marketing function within a tour operator or destination management company or tourism authority/promotion
  • Experience in managing agency relationships
  • Experience running successful marketing campaigns
  • Experience in recruiting and managing line reports
  • Leadership skills with the ability to set and prioritize goals
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, web analytics, Google AdWords and other key marketing tools
  • Experience with CRM software and email marketing solutions
  • At least 5 years of marketing experience and at least 2 years’ management experience
  • Previous marketing budget management and/or financial responsibility at the company P&L lev


  • Previous experience at an Inbound Tour Operator or DMC in the Middle East.
