Pelorus is entering a new stage of growth and we are looking for someone to work alongside the operations team leading on critical projects, continuing development of our operations systems and processes.

Working alongside Directors, Operations Manager, Head of Marketing and other senior members of the team, this role would suit an Operations Assistant/Executive with strong project management skills who is looking to take on a critical role in the business.

This role will be based out of our London HQ but with time spent working remotely too.

Core responsibilities

  • Work alongside overseas developers and members of the senior team to drive forward the development of operational efficiencies, client journey, CRM and reservation system.
  • Support operations team with daily meetings and through utilising project management tools
  • Implement improved client proposal documents and experience content through our CMS and by working alongside designers and developers
  • Complete reservation system processes covering finance, payments, receipts, documentation, supplier details and reporting
  • Operational support to the wider team
  • Develop interesting ways to integrate new software across the group and to improve our client offering
  • Support marketing integrations with our CRM and reservation system alongside our Digital Marketing Executive
  • Support in developing strategies to improve retention and referral marketing, including client data and segmentation to support marketing efforts

Personal Specification

  • Exceptional project and time management skills
  • Comfortable leading projects and communicating with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong copy-writing skills and eye for design
  • At home with data and technology
  • Team player who’s also able to work autonomously

Experience

  • At least 1 years’ experience in an operational position, preferably within the travel industry
  • Previous use of travel technology systems preferred
  • Fully proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience using photo editing tools would be beneficial

Qualifications

  • Degree (or equivalent)
