Managing Director

Geordie served as a Captain in a British Army reconnaissance regiment, deploying twice to Afghanistan before running a series of businesses across Europe. Prior to founding PELORUS he spent a number of years as MD of a high-end adventure travel company. Geordie is a fellow of the Royal Geographic Society, a winter mountain leader, advanced diver, paragliding pilot and skydiver. He has planned and led numerous adventures and yacht expeditions around the world and has a passion for unearthing the lesser-known regions of the planet.



Business Development Director

Jimmy served as a Captain in a British Army reconnaissance regiment, with tours to Iraq in 2006 and twice to Afghanistan. He served for eight years and on leaving was appointed expedition manager for Xtreme Everest 2, the largest ever medical-research expedition conducted on Mount Everest. Prior to co-founding PELORUS, Jimmy worked as head of marketing and communications for the design studio Winch Design, a world-leader in superyachts, private aviation and architecture. Jimmy is a fellow of the Royal Geographic Society, mountain leader and advanced diver with a passion for adventure.



Head of Private Adventures

Having graduated in modern languages, Dave spent five years working for Bloomberg in European Sales. Thereafter, a much-delayed gap year took him all over Latin America, India, Thailand, Australia and New Zealand. His passion for all things food then led him to undertaking a professional chef diploma and to cooking in a 3 Michelin-starred restaurant via some of the best private chalets in the Alps. Revisiting his passion for travel, Dave then started out at a villa agency, specialising in Europe. A further five years spent at a top luxury travel company saw him make his way to PELORUS.



Head of Yacht Expeditions

Elise grew up on the coast of Pembrokeshire, Wales. She has been in the yachting industry for 10 years, working as chief and purser on world travelling yachts from 30 – 90 meters, both private and charter. During this time, she has sailed across the equator in the Indian Ocean and the Atlantic, over the Arctic circle, and crossed the Atlantic numerous times. She holds her certificate of expertise in Scottish Whisky and she is currently studying for a Masters of Wine. At PELORUS, Elise is Head of Yacht Expeditions, working with guests, captains and brokers to provide innovative and unique experiences around the world, always with conservation at the forefront.



Head of Agency

Alexandra has managed events and experiences internationally for over eight years. From large trailblazing automotive rallies across archipelagos to a one-off pop-up ice table picnic on an Alpine peak, no experience is too big or too small. Previously Head of Experiences for Quintessentially, Alexandra launched this new department globally with a new emphasis on access-led and elevated experiences: a retirement from the classic corporate event or activation. Prior to this Alexandra managed smaller events for luxury fashion brands and media agencies, with coverage in British Vogue and the Evening Standard.

Marketing Manager

Hannah’s love of travel and adventure has taken her all over the world, including visiting her family in India and Japan; these passions followed her to Canada for a gap year spent teaching skiing and onto university to study Geography. Since graduating, she’s spent nine years’ working predominately for tailor-made, luxury travel brands. She spent several years in the marketing team leading on the CRM strategy for luxury tour operator Black Tomato. Following this she led on all marketing and campaign activity for several brands within the Active Travel Group. At PELORUS, Hannah is responsible for all marketing and PR.


Marketing Executive

Sport and adventure have always played an important role in Alanna’s life; from competing nationally in Athletics events to action-packed family holidays. Originally from Durham, Alanna has a degree in ‘PR, Marketing and Media’ from Canterbury Christ Church University. During this time, she undertook a year in industry, where she worked in international communications for Nike. After completing her degree and working at a digital marketing agency, her life long passion for winter sports finally led her to the French Alps, where she hosted in boutique chalets and experimented with skiing and snowboarding. She has since moved to London and began her career at PELORUS.


Foundation Manager and Project Executive

After studying History and Politics at Goldsmiths, University of London, Charlie transitioned to life in the City working as an insurance broker with a focus on Private Equity markets. During this time, Charlie travelled widely with trips to Australia and Morocco among others, including multi-day adventures in the Alps, the Himalayas and the Sahara. Leaving the insurance industry behind Charlie set out to pursue projects that he was passionate about and supported PELORUS in the build-up to our launch in November 2017. He now works as a Project Executive in our Private Adventures team.
