Ascend the sweeping staircase from the reception hall and you’ll find the Yellow Dining Room. Here, Aman’s signature Italian restaurant, Arva, boasts sweeping Grand Canal views and a ceiling painted by Cesare Rotta. Menus are overseen by Italy’s acclaimed Michelin-starred chef, Davide Oldani, and the dishes are a true love letter to Italy’s culinary heritage (think the best local produce and unfussy cooking with a warm atmosphere).
During the warmer months, the Garden Terrace offers stunning views over the canal, or you can choose to dine alfresco in the hotel’s private garden, with one of the best canal-side spots in the city.
Tucked away on the third level of the garden building, Aman Spa is a secret sanctuary with three single treatment rooms and a small gym with city skyline views. With Asian-inspired wooden accents, it’s more modern than the rest of the palazzo and feels typically ‘Aman’. With a programme of visiting experts and international wellness practitioners, therapies offered include body scrubs, massages and facials.
