Undergoing a decade-long transformation, this sprawling cliffside estate has been restored to beyond its former splendour and offers mesmerising sea views, with the Isle of Islay in the distance.

Painstakingly and lovingly restored, with 10 beautiful bedrooms, grand reception and dining rooms, a billiard room, and a large indoor pool, this is the ideal place to spend time with loved ones.

For individuals, couples, or smaller groups, opt for The Quads. Originally one of Ardfin’s agricultural buildings, The Quads has been rebuilt into an exclusive 13-bedroom (plus two two-bedroom apartments) hotel. Each bedroom is charmingly rustic and unique, embodying the perfect combination of minimalism and luxury. Interiors were designed to honour the area’s rich Scottish history and authenticity, choosing a multitude of original Scottish artworks and vintage artefacts to furnish the rooms, with fabrics and wallpapers sourced from local wool mills.

With thousands of acres to explore, there’s so much to do across the entire Ardfin Estate and beyond. The wide range of activities spans from kayaking, fishing, whale and dolphin watching, and traversing the wild landscape as you walk the many paths of Jura. Or, embark on a whisky tour to sample some of Scotland’s most famous tipples as you head out on a tasting tour of each unique distillery on Jura and Islay – 10 in all.

Scotland is famed for its incredible ingredients (think lobster, wild salmon and venison), which Ardfin puts at the heart of its menus.
