The large family suite contains two double bedrooms and a private dining area, perfect for families or groups wanting more privacy and space.

Royal Panthera Suite

For something truly special, opt for the Royal Panthera Suite. Redefining luxury in the wild, you can enjoy a private butler catering for your every need, a jeep to adventure off into the wilderness, a private heated swimming pool to cool off in and the most spectacular views of the surrounding scenery. Or, stay in Jawai’s latest private encampment – Eden at Jawai – which boasts two double-bed suites with a private entrance and offers mesmerising views of Jawai’s highest peaks and dramatic wilderness.

Cuisine

The dining experience is exceptional. Meals follow the rhythm of safari times and schedules; dine anywhere you want at any time. The main dining tent offers prime views of the mountains in the distance while the chefs prepare the food in front of you. Expect a mix of Indian and Western food with all the produce being sourced locally from farmers or grown in the onsite organic kitchen garden.

Activities

The leopards are one of the main attractions, as well as the animals and local people. Embark on a safari in customised 4×4 jeeps in the company of an expert guide who will show you Jawai’s landscape. Or, explore on horseback or foot for a slower way to take in your surrounds.

To unwind after a long day sightseeing in the game reserve, head down to the spa and wellness area where you can indulge in a serene atmosphere. Situated next to the lake where the still tranquil waters help to calm the mind and body, take part in a yoga and meditation session to completely relax. To really immerse yourself into the local culture, gain insight into conservation projects focusing on the Rabari herdsmen and local village communities.

Sustainability

SUJÁN Jawai Camp is a family-run business committed to conservation. Established in 1976, the SNS Foundation focuses on education, health, hygiene, skill development, and conservation, striving for economic self-reliance and harmonious coexistence with the environment in rural communities.

Supporting the local communities, they have adopted 13 schools in Rajasthan improving education and empowering young girls, while a mobile medical unit provides free primary healthcare across six villages. Plus, 80% of employees are from Rajasthan.

Notably, the camp has identified and protected 55 leopards and preserves 52 square kilometres of wilderness, including the restoration of 150 acres of farmland.

Why we love it

Start the day early with fresh coffee and baked Indian snacks before a sunrise safari scouting for leopards and wildlife, then take a guided walk to get up close and personal.
