Activities

Early morning drives through this unspoilt landscape offer unique insights into the lives of the Serengeti’s diverse inhabitants. Prowling lions and families of elephants roam the grassy plains, while wallowing hippos and watchful crocodiles reside in the depths of the Mara River. In the lull of the afternoon, relax with an array of spa treatments from the privacy of your tent or decking. Indulge in an open-air massage between your safari excursions, while birds ride the thermals above you and the golden savannah plains roll far into the distance. Candlelit meals and an extensive wine selection will keep you entertained in the evenings, as you reminisce under the stars on your day of adventure in the African wilderness

Sustainability

Singita Mara Camp operates off the grid, relying entirely on a custom-made solar system for power. The camp is made out of sustainable, eco-friendly building materials and materials are recycled wherever possible. The camp has a conservation and ecotourism brand, partnering with non-profit funds that implement conservation projects in the region such as working with local communities for not only conservation but for schooling and food also. Thanks to these factors and its extensive efforts to recycle and source food locally, the property has been awarded multiple awards for sustainability and conservation.

Why we love it

Situated in the remote Lamai triangle, in 98,000 acres of untouched wilderness, this secluded camp offers exclusive access to some of the world’s top private game-viewing opportunities. Of particular interest is its unique position surveying a renowned, ancient migratory path, traversed annually by over a million wildebeest. You will be met with unforgettable views of this awe-inspiring, natural phenomenon – a true once-in-a-lifetime experience.
