Your adventure begins in Marrakech where you will set off with an expert Pelorus guide in two vintage motorcycles, complete with sidecars, for a view of some of the more exclusive sights. Explore this remarkable city, a labyrinth of alleyways, absorbing the vibrant culture and scenes.

The next day, before dawn, you will leave the city for a hot air balloon flight over the Haouz Plain. Float over the amber-hued sands as the sun rises for a truly magical aerial view over the stunning High Atlas Mountains. Landing from your flight, breakfast will be served at the base of the balloon.

From here, it’s off to the Toubkal National Park, home to the highest mountain in North Africa, where you will spend the morning trekking through the villages of the Mizane Valley. Pause for lunch in a typical mountain auberge in the heart of a Berber village, before travelling to the foot of the Kik Plateau – a vast and scenic pastureland – for a high-octane dune-buggy adventure that takes you deep into the Agafay stone desert.

Continue on an epic journey through the mountains and down to the Sahara Desert, travelling through a flat valley of streams and farmers’ fields set against a backdrop of wild and dramatic mountains. Valley hikes, lunch in a local house with a family, and visits to Berber markets give an amazing insight into Moroccan rural life.

Jump onto mountain bikes and onto a new off-road route that crosses the Atlas Mountains by way of one of the highest passes in North Africa (3,000m above sea level) before heading by 4×4 to an exclusive palm oasis for the night. Head to one of the most celebrated palm oases of southern Morocco, home to millions of date palms, mud villages, crumbling kasbahs and striking angular mountains, before journeying into the desert again to stay in a luxury desert camp for two nights. Try your hand at sand boarding, desert bread baking, camel trekking, quad biking, hiking and of course scaling the dunes at sunset and sunrise.

Conclude your experience with a spectacular helicopter ride back from the desert into the vibrant city of Marrakech.

* Prices depend on level of experiences and accommodation. This is based on 2 adults and 2 children travelling for 5 nights excluding international flights.
