Begin your journey nestled between the staggering slopes of Mt Stupendous and Mt Millikan, as you start to familiarise yourself with this magical landscape. Accompanied by experienced guides and naturalists you will venture into the Great Bear Rainforest to see how this unique ecosystem combines oceans, rivers and land. Your guide will explain the ecology of the area as you learn how to track grizzly bears, pointing out various signs including bite marks on trees and tracks where bears dig out the forest floor for their naps. As you journey onwards into the Bella Coola Valley you will witness the pristine ecosystem rich with vibrant artistic culture of the First Nations heritage. Take your time as you wonder by foot or on horseback in the tranquillity of this untampered valley.

Depart Tweedsmuir to connect with your private seaplane flight to Nimmo Bay, tucked away at the base of the 5,000-foot Mount Stephens. Start your day hiking over the undulating shoreline, in and out of the forest and along the beach. Nimmo Bay sits in the vast wilderness of the Great Bear Rainforest, encompassing glacier-cut fjords, 1000-year-old cedars and waterfalls that appear to cascade from moss coated mountain sides. Allow the tranquillity of this place to wash over you and breath in the natural beauty of its picturesque position. Home to the elusive cream-coloured Kermode bear, grey wolves, grizzly and black bears, Sitka deer, cougars, mountain goats, salmon and sea otters this is the perfect place to reconnect with wildlife.

Start your morning with a refreshing kayak through the channels and glide through nearby sheltered bays. Revel in the silence, interrupted only by the chattering birds or the splash of an inquisitive seal. Continue your water adventures with an intermate whale watching experience on the beautiful waters of the Broughton Archipelago accompanied by an expert guide who has a profound knowledge of and connection to the whales in the area. Watch the acrobatic behaviour of the Humpback Whale as these ocean giants breaches within metres of your boat. Keep your eyes peeled for the majestic orca, playful sealions or bear cubs learning to forage as they navigate the rocky shoreline.
