A hidden gem on the tiny island of Antiparos, one of the most secluded and exclusive islands in Greece, The Rooster is surrounded by nothing but nature. A quick hop over from it's neighbouring island of Paros, discover this small sanctuary where you can find crystal-clear coves, sandy bays and beaches, a rich culture, and delicious cuisine.

In keeping with the island’s architecture, the 16 suites and villas are all stone-built and single-storey, dressed in muted tones of sand and tan to ensure the view remains the star of the show. For complete privacy, each comes with its own private pool, terrace, and sundeck overlooking the gardens or the sea. For those travelling as a family or large group, book into the three-bedroom Farmhouse, which sits slightly tucked away from the main areas, amid the hotel’s groves and kitchen gardens.

The aptly named House of Healing is The Rooster’s spa, offering custom-made treatments bespoke to your lifestyle. Before each session, guests will undergo a personalised in-depth wellness consultation before enjoying their prescribed massage or ritual. Post-treatment, soak in the relaxation in the spa’s pool or sauna, or keep up the momentum with a personal training session, yoga or Pilates class.

The wellness theme extends to the restaurant, with superfoods and salads aplenty. But for those looking to enjoy a true taste of Greece, you can expect traditional Greek dishes alongside these healthier options. Impressively, all ingredients come from farm-produced crops, island fishermen, Greek olive trees, and their own home-grown fruits and vegetables from their farm. For an intimate and romantic dining experience, head to the Secret Garden where you will be seating among olive trees and twinkling fairy lights.

Sustainability

The Rooster duly recycles, uses eco-friendly products and composts. The property was built out of local stone and natural materials. Their kitchen uses produce from the garden or the hotel’s organic farm and they have strong ties to the local community, encouraging slow living and respectful tourism
