To begin your Nepali adventure, fly by helicopter up into the Himalayan foothills, taking in spectacular vistas of the mountains towering below you. Arrive in Phaplu and check-in to the exclusive Happy House, once home to Sir Edmund Hillary. As you settle into your new serene surroundings, enjoy a traditional Sherpa lunch served in the garden with stunning views across the Himalayas.
Hike up to the Ratnange ridge, passing ancient monasteries and following hidden forest trails, until you reach your home for the night. A traditional ger camp set up exclusively for you in a secluded spot where you will be able to watch the sun setting over the majestic Himalayan range and sleep under the stars surrounded only by the tranquil sounds of nature.
Following a mountain view breakfast, you will walk down from Ratnange through a Rhododendron forest back to the Happy House. From Happy House, you will be picked by a helicopter and take a scenic flight to Everest Base Camp, nestled at the bottom of the imposing Khumbu Icefall at 5,380 metres above sea level. You will have approximately ten minutes to explore and take a few photographs before it will be time to take off again to get down to thicker air. From the helicopter, you will experience an epic view of the vast mountains before landing in Kongde for lunch a beautiful close-up view of Mount Everest and its neighbours as your backdrop.
