IMAGINE: A World Tour

Can you imagine a more idyllic way to travel the world?

2019

Why charter?

For many, sailing around the world is a true bucket-list contender. What better way to explore the remote corners of the earth than from the bow of a boat under sail?

With a well-established pedigree within sailing the 30m sail vessel IMAGINE is now available for charter for the first time and is ready to embark on a spectacular voyage as she cruises towards her (roaming) spiritual home of the America’s Cup.

IMAGINE will be sailing to the most far-flung corners of the globe and visiting a vast array of awe-inspiring, culturally rich locations. From the pristine sands of the Caribbean, the rugged beauty of French Polynesia, and experiencing the culture of the Namba tribes in Vanuatu, this world tour is an amazing opportunity to experience the world’s most remote locations off the beaten track.

Beginning in Southern Norway, IMAGINE will journey to the Mediterranean before crossing the Atlantic to Central America. Here, she will be available to charter in the Dominican Republic, Belize, and Panama before continuing her journey to French Polynesia, remote Vanuatu, the idyllic Solomon Islands, and New Zealand.

There are often misconceptions that surround the idea of chartering a yacht and Pelorus is on a mission to dispel them.

Chartering a yacht does not require huge time commitments. IMAGINE can be chartered per week or for ten days as she reaches each destination, meaning that visiting awe-inspiring locations does not require spending months at sea. Instead, you are free to climb aboard IMAGINE at your own convenience, experiencing the world at your own pace.

But as the world outside your vessel changes, everything within remains the same. IMAGINE is capable of carrying up to five crew members on-board who will be committed to ensuring that each guest has a relaxed and enjoyable experience.

Imagine, stepping onboard your yacht and being greeted by the familiar, friendly faces of your crew and having a meal prepared for you by a chef who already knows your preferences. Imagine, learning to kitesurf in the San Blas Islands and picking up where you left off, with the same deck team, in French Polynesia.

For us, the beauty of chartering a yacht at multiple points on its circumnavigation is that it becomes a home away from home, creating a relaxed, comforting environment as you explore the unknown outside world.

The Boat

Perfectly partnering sailing performance with comfort, IMAGINE has been impeccably maintained she is as beautiful today as the day she was launched.

A true yachtsman’s yacht, and a testament to her smooth cruising capabilities, IMAGINE proudly bears one of the most sought after design and build pedigrees of the sailing yacht world, offering all you would expect from a brand-new build. New generators, rigging, mast, and sails, amongst other equipment, will ensure a safe sailing experience of the highest standard. Onboard she boasts a Novurania 460 Yamaha tender and a variety of toys that range from paddleboards to water skis.

Imagine hails from the drawing boards of the award-winning Dubois studio and was built by New Zealand’s Alloy Yachts. IMAGINE was a fully custom build and her timeless lines and style have made her an iconic sailing superyacht. Not to mention, she has completed three circumnavigations, numerous Atlantic crossings, and competed in many regattas.

Importantly, IMAGINE is ideal for family charters or accommodating groups of friends, with a flexible cabin arrangement that offers a full-beam spacious master suite with an adjoining children’s cabin for two smaller sailors, another double suite, and one triple suite consisting of three single berths.
