Projects
Through identifying vital projects, building long-standing partnerships and actively getting involved, the Pelorus Foundation is creating and supporting initiatives that address core environmental issues.
Working with World Land Trust’s Carbon Balanced Programme, the Pelorus Foundation is protecting carbon-rich wildlife habitats and endangered forest in the tropics. Across the African continent, we have joined the fight to save wildlife and prevent crime. For the long-term survival of Africa’s endangered species, we aim to train multiple Field Rangers to assist in crucial conservation projects.
Turning our focus to the ocean, in the Mesoamerican region, we are helping to establish an Adaptive Reefscape to ensure coral reefs are protected from overfishing. Never done before in the Red Sea, we are pioneering a new Sea Check system to examine the ocean’s health and monitor human intervention on the biosphere. Furthermore, we are pairing marine scientists with private yachts to access the world’s most remote areas to conduct vital research. Through every action, we are enhancing the prosperity of our oceans.
