Pelorus launched into the world of travel and adventure at the former Royal Geographical Society, Gieves & Hawkes No. 1 Savile Row. These were the headquarters from 1870 to 1912. More than 150 guests joined founders Geordie Mackay-Lewis and Jimmy Carroll at the event, with drinks supplied by sponsors Heineken and Damson Tree.

When introducing the travel and adventure company, Geordie Mackay-Lewis said: “There is so much of the world not being seen or explored. Working within three specialist categories – Private Adventures, Yacht Expeditions and Special Projects – Pelorus aims to show people what is out there in a way that hasn’t been done before. Within these categories, whether a family, an individual or corporate group, the possibilities are huge.”
