In Zambia’s Western Province lies Liuwa Plains, an area that remains wonderfully natural and uncommercialised. As well as incredible game viewing, track cheetah and hyena with lead conservationists and hear an informative talk from a representative of the Zambia Carnivore Programme. Receive a fascinating insight into the programme as you accompany a team to tag, track and monitor an animal. Boasting the second largest wildebeest migration on Earth, follow the animals by land or by water in inflatable kayaks. Experience the park and migration from above as you take scenic helicopter flights, stopping at lagoons, beautiful bird colonies and for remote picnics in the bush. For a cultural insight, watch the Munde spearfishing inside the park.

To revel in a natural wildlife phenomenon, unique only to this location, venture to the remote and unspoilt Kasanka National Park. As well as a brilliant diversity of animal, plant and birdlife, Kasanka boasts an unbelievable bat migration. Witness the skies turn dramatically black as some 8 million giant fruit bats descend on a small area to feed. Scale wooden ladders into the forest canopy to get amongst the action, watch eagles crashing into the swarms of bats, and be amazed by the screeching sounds that surround.

Explore South Luangwa National Park and be greeted by a unique combination of grassy plains, stunning trees, wild mopane woodlands and the winding Luangwa river – the life blood of the valley. Experience the park by foot, learn about small creatures, animal tracking and discover how the famed walking safari originated in South Luangwa. Your expert guides make every step exciting as you blend in with the landscape rather than solely spectate it. In 4×4 vehicles, embark on day and night drives to encounter the multitude of game that blesses this park, each day as unpredictable as the next. Night drives allow for additional viewing excitement as you observe the nocturnal world come to life! Sleep out under the stars in a magical location on the Luwi Riverbed. In this unforgettable experience, enjoy a traditional braai before settling down for the night with nothing but mosquito netting separating you from the wild.

Further your exhilarating safari adventure in the Lower Zambezi National Park; a place representing true wilderness. UNESCO has labelled this a World Heritage Site in certain areas due to the remarkable concentration of wildlife that inhabits it. Home to the wide Zambezi River, float metres away from wild animals on the water’s edge for a peaceful, yet thrilling sensation! Try your luck at tiger fishing and feel the adrenaline as you battle with this powerful freshwater species. Take a sunset cruise along the river to gain a fresh perspective on the heavenly scenery and wildlife that surrounds. Sundowners in hand, soak up the tranquil atmosphere and listen to the sounds of Africa.

Venture to Victoria Falls, one of Africa’s top sights. Bordering Zambia and Zimbabwe, this great curtain of falling water plunges 100 metres into a striking gorge. Labelled the ‘adventure capital’ of Africa you will have the opportunity to go white water rafting, abseiling down epic rock faces, bungee jump from amazing heights and take scenic flights over the falls. Feel the force of the Zambezi flow past as you take a dip in Devil’s Pool, a natural rock pool with a view from the edge that will get the heart pumping. Enjoy a luxury dining experience on Livingstone Island and follow in Dr. Livingstone’s footsteps on your tour as you learn its history and make the most of the best vantage point for the falls.
