With sweeping panoramic views of the lush mountain landscape, this lovingly renovated 17th-century mansion is an art-filled hideaway on a private Mallorcan estate, complete with citrus orchards, Mediterranean gardens and a working wine farm.

There are a total of 31 rooms and suites, all individually styled and juxtaposing traditional palatial features such a rustic wooden beams, stone floors, and antique fireplaces, with tasteful, relaxed interior furnishings. Located either in the manor house or a short stroll away, each room is framed by the mountains and boasts unmatched views which can be enjoyed from the living area, private outdoor patio, or from one of the suites with a private pool.

Son Net’s fine-dining restaurant offers authentic cuisine curated with food from locally sourced products and the hotel’s own vegetable and herb gardens. At the centre of the restaurant is an ancient olive press dating back to the 1600s, and on a warm evening, one can dine alfresco on seasonal, freshly prepared produce.

Elsewhere, El Gazebo offers lunch by the pool where Mediterranean dishes are crafted from market produce and enjoyed alongside picturesque valley views. There is also The Green Bar which serves Mallorcan tapas and cocktails in the patio lounge and outdoor terrace.

Outside, there is a pool lined with private cabanas that take full advantage of the wonderful countryside views. There is a second adults-only pool flanked by impressive fountains, whilst further relaxation can be found in the spa. With over two storeys of wellness facilities, you can expect an indoor pool, five treatment rooms, a thermal circuit, and a fitness room.

To make the most of the locale, guests can explore scenic hiking routes as well as tours of Palma Old Town. The island also has incredible beaches best discovered on a day spent sailing around the spectacular coastline.

Sustainability

  • Building methods used in restoration and expansion have been eco-friendly, water is purified through aeration filters and warmed using heat-recovery methods, energy-saving lighting is installed, and climate is controlled using aerothermal systems

  • Son Net has its own vegetable garden to supply its restaurants, with the rest of the produce coming from local suppliers
