Hannah Cornforth

Hannah’s love of travel and adventure has taken her all over the world, including visiting her family in India and Japan; these passions followed her to Canada for a gap year spent teaching skiing and onto university to study Geography. Since graduating, she’s spent over a decade working predominately for tailor-made, luxury travel businesses in addition to marketing within an FMCG branding agency and several events positions.

Her travel marketing experience started in the marketing team leading the CRM, referral and retention strategy and team for luxury tour operator Black Tomato. Following this she spent several years running the marketing and campaign activity for three activity holiday brands within the Active Travel Group. At Pelorus, Hannah is responsible for all marketing and PR, she’s also often found organising group G&T calls on a Friday afternoon.

Number one unforgettable travel experience?

Although it’s hard to pick just one, I’ll never forget my first safari experience in Zimbabwe, truly spectacular. The G&T sundowners were pretty great too. 


Top of your travel bucket list?

Having worked in the travel industry for quite a while, my bucket list is always growing. I love being out at sea though so a trip on an incredible yacht, with diving and accessing so many off-the-beaten-track locations rarely accessible from land would be high up my list. 


Who is your ultimate travel partner?

It may sound clichéd but I would love to travel with David Attenborough. I’m sure he has some incredible tales to tell and what’s more, he could narrate the whole adventure.
