Private Adventures Sales Manager

Scott Maucher

Scott’s upbringing in coastal South Carolina meant a life that revolved around nature and the outdoors. Travel was also hugely important from a young age and is still his #1 passion. After graduating from Georgetown University, he moved to Paris and worked as a professional tour guide before settling in London and taking a job in the City. Realising that his greatest memories all stemmed from travel experiences he switched industries and has since worked in the ultra-luxury travel sector putting together bespoke once in a lifetime experiences for discerning clientele.

When not traveling he enjoys playing tennis and cycling.

Unforgettable Travel Experience?

Crawling into the centre of the Great Pyramid of Giza. I was studying abroad in Madrid at the time and everyone I knew was going to Ibiza or Mallorca for Spring Break. I, however, wanted to do something a bit more exotic and adventurous. I managed to convince one mate to join me, and we ended up having the most extraordinary time sailing up the Nile and seeing all of the incredible temples that line its banks.

Top of your Travel Bucket List?

Island Hopping in Palawan…well really exploring the Philippines in general. I was supposed to spend a month seeing Siargao, Cebu, Bohol, Siquijor and Palawan but was unable on account of covid. I am absolutely positive that I’ll eventually make that dream trip a reality.

Ultimate Travel Partner?

Richard Dawkins. As one of the world’s preeminent zoologists it would be extraordinary to have him explaining the fascinating quirks and beautiful secrets that that natural world displays.
