Uncover Brazil’s Diverse Coastline By Yacht

Uncover the diverse landscapes of Brazil’s most captivating and unexplored coastline on a yacht charter like no other. Drift along the edge of this resplendent region and access deserted areas accessible only by water.

When to go:
September – May

Fly into Angra dos Reis and join your waiting vessel at Porto Frade. Once onboard get settled in or head out on an immersive jungle adventure. Hop into 4x4s and join local guides as you access the wild expanses of Serra da Boccaina National Park. Journey along the Caminho do Oouro, a well preserved trail crossing through the lush Atlantic Forest. Use bikes or even horses to discover the dense jungle and explore deeper, or uncover the winding trail on foot. This trail was laid by slaves in colonial times and as you continue your journey, learn about this region’s complex history before discovering towering waterfalls shaded by swaying fig trees.

For something a little more laid back, enjoy a day spent luxuriating in a spa or playing a round of golf at the local course. Otherwise, enjoy a relaxing journey onboard as you head over to a nearby island perfect for some heart-pumping watersports using your vessel’s toybox in the crystalline waters.

Cruise past rugged cliffs, dense forest, and pristine beaches to nearby Paraty, a colonial town steeped in history. Stop along the way to uncover secret coves and quaint islands. Wake up anchored off the coast of Paraty and enjoy a morning strolling through the historic town. Duck into galleries, libraries, and vibrant restaurants where you can experience the region’s exquisite cuisine. Hike up the forested trail Pico Do Pao De Acucar for spectacular views in every direction over the colonial town, undulating mountains, and turquoise waters. Visit a local cachaça distillery to sample one of Brazil’s best-known exports and a key ingredient in the world-famous caipirinha.

Hop in your vessel’s tender and cruise to Brazil’s only fjord, a raw shock of nature where the forest seems to tumble straight into the sea. In the evening, return to your vessel and watch the sun dip below the horizon as the still water around you reflects the lights of the Milkyway.

Island-hop from Paraty to the pristine shores of Ilha Grande, a spectacular island replete with white sand beaches and lush tropical rainforests. Depending on the weather, anchor in a sheltered spot and begin exploring the Island. Use your vessel’s tender to discover remote beaches accessible only by boat and chose the perfect spot for a laid-back beach day complete with a barbecue, watersports, and snorkelling set up by your yacht’s crew. Anchor at Saco da Longa and spend the day witnessing some of Brazil’s most spectacular diving. Dive alongside seahorses, rays, and turtles as you uncover the depths of these diverse waters.
