Based in one the least populated areas of the world, HMS GÅSSTEN cruises the Fjords of Western Norway. She was originally built as a Minesweeper in the Swedish Navy in 1973, constructed with a wooden hull to limit her magnetic signature and the only boat of her class still afloat. She underwent a full refit in 2018/19 to provide a cosy atmosphere for ten guests in five wood-panelled, ensuite cabins whilst still retaining many of her original features, such as her beautiful exposed oak roof beams.

Enjoy freshly caught seafood in the spacious forward saloon and dining area after a day of exploration in the Fjords. Or witness the breath-taking Sunnmøre Alps from the pine deck space situated above the saloon. HMS GÅSSTEN is the only boat in the area with the ability to access remote destinations such as Bjørke and Øye. In Summer, cycle through the stunning valleys and kayak up remote, twisting creeks. Winter weather opens the window to sea and ski experiences, carving down fresh slopes as well as the opportunity for once-in-a-lifetime whale watching. Allow the exceptionally skilled crew, who know every inch of this stunning coastline, to guide you and take care of your every need.
