31m TOGO began life as a North Sea Trawler and has been transformed into a sturdy and adventurous Arctic expedition yacht for up to 12 keen explorers.
Built in 1965 by Dunston Shipyard as a North Sea Trawler, TOGO was transformed in 2018 into the sturdy ice-strengthened expedition yacht we see today. For those seeking something different, she offers safe, off-the-beaten-track cruising in the waters around Svalbard and Norway. Her hardy exterior bellies a functional yet inviting interior that includes a comfortable, mahogany panelled saloon with a bar and panoramic windows. Her spaces are rustic in style and feature exposed wood, vintage style photography and artwork and beautiful wood and leather furnishings that create a tasteful yet cosy feel. Her accommodation layout sleeps up to 12 guests in seven cabins, four of which offer ensuite facilities.
Outside, TOGO’s decks provide numerous excellent vantage points for spotting or photographing the wide variety of wildlife you are likely to encounter. TOGO also carries two Zodiac tenders perfect for shore landings and excursions through shallow waters or hard to reach inlets. Her dedicated crew have decades of experience operating in Arctic waters and they are more than happy to share their skills and knowledge with the guests they welcome aboard.
